Hobeca started 40 years ago as a manufacturer's representative in 1979.  Due to market demands the direction of the company changed to being an importer/distributor, with a focus on sourcing products requested by our customers.  We established a reputation as a 'go-to' company if you couldn't find it elsewhere. The business is proudly 100% New Zealand owned and operated and has firmly established itself as a supplier of high-quality, reliable industrial tools and trade consumables. 

Today we import quality products from internationally renowned suppliers in Europe, Japan, Taiwan and Australia and more.  We supply to a wide range of customers including electrical, plumbing, automotive and engineering trades, building supplies, paint specialty and general hardware stores. 

Our strength is our ability to supply a wide range of high quality products. We proudly represent many world class manufacturing brands including Koken, Felo, Mitutoyo, Jaz and Sikkens, as well as Autosol, Hammerite and Alpen.  These brands cover product categories including sockets, measuring tools, drills, screwdrivers, augers, woodstain and more.
