Our growing business located in Wanaka is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join us in the role of lead technician. We operate a diverse workshop, servicing a range of areas in the industry.

The successful applicant will:

• Thrive working both as an individual, as well as part of a busy team

• Hold a current Vehicle Inspector Certificate of Appointment

• Maintain a high standard of work under pressure

• Have a positive attitude more infectious than a new car smell

The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Overseeing the general workload of the entire automotive team

• Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner to the expected standards

• Servicing and repairs on all makes and models of cars, 4wd's, light vehicles - You can sweet-talk cars back to health

• Installation of ARB 4x4 Accessories

• Performing WOF inspections

• Supervision and training of apprentices

• Communicating with customers

• Communicating with back of house
