Experienced Carpenter

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Carpenter with at least 5 years of experience to join our dedicated team. The role is based in the wider Auckland area, and we need someone who can work efficiently, with minimal supervision, and produce high-quality results.

Reporting to: Construction Manager

You must be reliable, organised, and mature, capable of completing tasks to a high standard and within set timeframes. As a key member of our team, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.

Key Terms and Conditions of Employment:

• Hourly rate: $33 - $40 per hour, depending on experience
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work may be required
• You must have your own tools and reliable transport
• Full driver's license is required
• Clear Drug test

Duties:

▪ Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and maintenance work.

▪ Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

▪ Ensure that all work complies with building codes and health and safety regulations.

▪ Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time.

▪ Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

▪ Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

▪ At least five years of carpentry experience.

▪ Own tools are essential.

▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

▪ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

▪ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

▪ Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
